An inventory of specific species of snails in Lake Trboje

Terrestrial snail diversity was not greater in the forested zone of Lake Trbojsko. We found that the smaller species inhabiting the top layer of forest leaf litter dominated our investigation.. On rainy days, one can often spot the larger snails, which were among the characteristic species of this area. Additional field research should be directed towards a few species of snails likely to live in the immediate vicinity of the lake.
