Deciduous forests on the Balkan Peninsula

On occasion of election to the foreign member of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Andraž Čarni will help an inaugural lecture about temperate deciduous forest in the Balkan Peninsula. He will present the origin of the deciduous forest vegetation in the region and elaborate the main types of these forests, as oak-hornbeam, beech, moor and riverine, ravine, thermophile forest in the region.  (more information in the attachment manu_predavanje_najava.pdf)
