Saved from Extinction

In the documentary series Saved from Extinction, co-produced by the EBU (of which RTV Slovenia is a part), the False Ringlet butterfly (Coenonympha oedippus) is also featured. More specifically, Dr. Tatjana Čelik, a researcher at the Jovan Hadži Institute of Biology ZRC SAZU, who is working to keep this highly endangered species of butterfly from the Easter lily family alive. 

The documentary will be broadcast on RTV SLO1 in two parts: the first will be shown on Tuesday, 23 May 2023, and the second a week later, 30 May 2023, both times at 8:35 p.m.
